The real power behind the concept of what we do with stranded renewables is neither the fact that they're renewable, nor that they are stranded. We studied the area around the Iowa Great Lakes, carefully examining population, transportation, existing economy, available water, the regulatory environment, local economic development resources ... and then we looked at the wind.
